In the village of Nyzhne Selishche, Transcarpathian region, there is the Seliska Cheese Factory - the first artisan cheese factory in Ukraine. Here, in the heart of the Carpathians, since 1994, cheese has been brewed according to Swiss technology, using only local milk. Thus, the company instills love for the region through taste. Seliska Cheese Factory was founded as a socio-economic project, the purpose of which is to preserve small-scale agriculture in the highlands. Thanks to the efforts of cheese makers, the depressed village became prosperous and famous throughout Ukraine. Excursions are regularly held on the territory of the cheese factory, where you can get acquainted with the production technology of the product loved by millions of people. And, of course, all products can be tasted. The visiting cards of the cheese factory are the cheeses "Seliky", "Narcissus Karpat", "Khust" and "Traditional Cheese of Khustshchyna".
