Vvedenskaya Church
Church of the Entry
Carpathians, Bukovel
The Vvedenskaya Church is the main temple of the village of Polyanitsa. The first wooden structure was built in 1912, but in 1946 the temple burned down. And only in 1990 the church was rebuilt, its creator was the local master Yuri Timofey. This is an excellent example of Hutsul architecture; in appearance, the church resembles the former one. Near the temple there is a cemetery of Austrian soldiers who died in the First World War.
