The Taraktash trail is one of the most picturesque mountain routes in the Crimea. The trail passes near mountains with an unusual "puff" structure - the Taraktash ridge - this was the reason for its name. It was laid at the beginning of the 20th century. members of the Crimean Mountain Club on the initiative of the doctor V.N. Dmitriev. The length of the Taraktash trail is 8 km. It starts at the foot of the Uchan-Su waterfall, passes through the spring of "1904", the Taraktash ridge with bizarre tower-shaped rocks and ledges (Taraktash window, Taraktash window, Taraktash bedside table) and ends on the Ai-Petri plateau.
The trail is equipped for tourists and is marked throughout, and the average time of its passage is about 4 hours. Climbing it is quite difficult and tiring with steep descents and ascents, but the magnificent surrounding landscapes, healing mountain air and unusual mountains easily compensate for this.

Trail to Ai-Petri

The Taraktash trail starts from the Uchan-Su waterfall and leads to the Ai-Petrinsky plateau. Its length is only 3.5 km, but the elevation difference is quite large - 600 m. It's hard, but great! Almost at the very top you can see bizarre layered rock ridges. The purest air and beautiful landscapes are also included in the program.→
