The landscape park is a sculptural and decorative monument of Russian landscape gardening art of the early 20th century. The park owes its originality, first of all, to the sculptor A.T. Matveev, who in 1905-1912. decorated the park with dynamic sculptures of youths, boys, young bathers.
The urban-type settlement Parkovoe is located 23 km west of Yalta, west of the village of Opolzneveloe. The road to the village departs to the sea from the old Sevastopol highway. Previously, the village of Parkovoe was the village of Kuchuk-Koy. P.S. wrote about him. Pallas and P.I. Sumarokov in connection with the catastrophic landslide in 1786 in its vicinity. In 1899, at his dacha in Kuchuk-Koe, A.P. Chekhov met with A.M. Gorky.
