Laspinskaya bay
Laspi Bay
Crimea, Sevastopol
Laspi Bay is protected from the western and northern winds by Mount Kush-Kaya (663 m), and from the eastern ones by the Kalanykh-Kaya mountain range (625 m) and Mount Ilya, or Atanas (739 m). These exceptionally favorable conditions explain the fact that some species of subtropical flora grow well here in the wild.
And also the fact that for a long time there were large settlements here. The well-known Russian historian, Professor M. I. Rostovtsev believed that in ancient times there was a city in Laspi, since the remains of medieval buildings, walls, temple structures were found here.
