Saki healing lake
Saki healing lake
Crimea, Saky
The Saki salt lake is divided into two parts by a dam. The western basin is a reserve regenerating raw material base. In the east one can see how curative mud is mined. The greatest depth of the lake is only about a meter, the salt content in the brine is 15-25% (10 times higher than in the sea). Under the brine lies a layer of mud up to 2-2.5 m thick in the center of the lake, and along the edges more than 2.5 m. - brown clays.
