The Saki resort park is rightfully the pride of the city. Visitors get the impression that the park has always been there. More than a hundred years ago, a steppe scorched by the scorching heat stretched here. People have created a man-made oasis on scarce soil. The park is growing every year, and its territory now occupies almost 50 hectares. About 80 species of trees and shrubs grow in it. A rare combination of forest, forest-steppe, Mediterranean vegetation creates a picturesque green ensemble.

The inhabitants of the Saki resort park are elegant acacias, silver sucker, honey locust, tamarisk, silver sucker, elm, ash. In the Saki resort park, plants from the Mediterranean and China, Japan and North America have taken root well: oak and birch, field and American maple, Japanese sophora, yew and purple elm, juniper and pine. Heat-loving cypresses, Himalayan cedar, Chinese wisteria, Syrian rose have found a second homeland.
The trees in the park grow like floors. All this creates the most picturesque landscapes: the lively song of youth in the spring, the golden sadness of the passing autumn, the thoughtful silence of winter, the sonorous laughter of the southern summer. One can breathe freely and easily in the park, the air is clean and fresh, saturated with oxygen and enriched with ions of salts of the healing lake.

Walking in the park is very useful for the upper respiratory tract, beautiful landscapes have a charitable effect on the sick, strengthen their nervous system. Throughout the park there are artistic flower beds, cozy benches, trellises with climbing plants. A monument to Soviet pilots who died in the battles for the liberation of Crimea was erected in the center of the park. An eternal flame burns at the foot of the obelisk. On the central alley, in the thick of century-old oaks, there is a bust of N.V. Gogol, who was treated at the Saki resort in 1835.
