Monument of nature (1968), reserve (1980) on the southern plateau of the Tarkhankut peninsula near the village of Krasnoselsky. In this part of the peninsula, there is almost no normal soil cover. Limestone blocks and slabs come directly to the surface. Drought-resistant steppe vegetation dominates here: fescue, thyme, feather grass. This steppe area can serve as a standard that determines the role of plants in soil formation in the conditions of the stony steppe.

It was not by chance that these places were chosen for the filming of the film "Amphibian Man". Huge rock statues, reminiscent of the work of an avant-garde sculptor, seem to have come from the pages of fantasy books. The Chalice of Love is also of interest - a natural pool surrounded by rocks. An underwater passage leads from the bowl into the sea - through this tunnel Ichthyander got into the house of Dr. Salvator.
