The Kerch fortress was built by the Turks on the banks of the Kerch Strait, at its narrowest point. The construction of the fortress took quite a long time and was completed only in 1703. They were led by French engineers. Little is involved in tourism, it is actively developed by Tolkinists, role players and other informal movements.
