Mount Opuk, located in the south of the Kerch Peninsula, advanced in a wide array towards the Black Sea. Four kilometers south of it, a group of 4 islands rises above the sea surface - Rocks-ships (Elken-Kaya), once connected to the shore. The protected tract Opuk is a place of significant concentrations of birds. The pink starling, gull-gull, cormorant, shrike, owl, peregrine falcon nest here.
