Evpatoria Museum of Local Lore was founded in 1921 by order of the command of the 46th Infantry Division. The museum occupies the building of the former mansion of the merchant Yu. M. Gelelovich. The collection of the museum was formed at the expense of objects of archeology, numismatics, porcelain, old books and works of art, requisitioned in the homes of wealthy residents of the city. Now the museum has 56.8 thousand exhibits. The most significant department is the archaeological one, dedicated to ancient Kerkinitida and medieval Gezlev.

Museums for understanding the history of the city where you rest

I think everyone sometimes needs to train the brain, strain the memory and just move, and not just lie on the beach. In Evpatoria, the museum is very worthy. There is something to see, and the building itself, in which the museum is located, is beautiful. At the entrance you will be met by two guns)→

Good educational tour
