Waterfall Golovkinsky
Golovinsky Waterfall, Cascade of Golovkinsky Waterfalls
Crimea, Alushta
One of the most famous waterfalls formed in the upper reaches of the rivers of the southern slope of the Main Ridge of the Crimean Mountains. There is a waterfall on the Ulu-Uzen River in the vicinity of the city of Alushta on the territory of the Crimean Natural Reserve. The first to draw attention to the waterfall on the slope of Babugan-yayla was Nikolai Alekseevich Golovkinsky, a prominent researcher and popularizer of Crimean nature, emphasizing that there are few places in Crimea that could compete with this waterfall in beauty. In memory of the scientist's research, this waterfall is now named after Golovkinsky.
