Angarsk pass
Chatyr-dag pass
Crimea, Alushta
The main ridge of the Crimean Mountains to the east of the Chatyr-Dag massif is cut through by the Angarsk Pass (752 m above sea level). The busiest and most beautiful road of the Crimea (perhaps, and Ukraine) is laid through it. One of the few places in Crimea for winter sports and recreation. Snow (30-50 cm) on the Angarsk Pass is good for skiing from January to early March. Thousands of people come here by any transport, including a trolleybus.
Separate tracks are equipped for sleds and snow scooters, ice rinks and car cameras, even for fans of the most dashing descent - on plastic wrap. For mountain skiers (they have to go to the right from the meteorological station) there are two stages of a ski lift of 600 m each, a height difference of 450 m. The first stage is for middle-class skiers, but interesting and very picturesque. The second is already pure adrenaline: rock ledges, centuries-old beeches, but the air and space just make you fly! Only equipment and skill are needed for this.
There is a ski school, rental of all kinds of sledges and skis, sleigh rides for a snowmobile, delivery and excursions for groups, and most importantly, the duty of the control and rescue service. In the warm season of the year, lovers of mountain tourism (there are not so many of them) come here, including on MTV bicycles. A 5-km track has been equipped, on which competitions in uphill and downhill competitions are held.
