The Unevskaya Lavra is located in the village of Unev, Peremyshliansky District, Lviv Region. The monastery, now owned by the Greek Catholic Church, was founded in the 14th century. It was destroyed twice by the Tatars, and laid down its second life at the beginning of the 18th century thanks to the Sheptytsky family. The main shrine of the Lavra is a copy of the Unevskaya Icon of the Mother of God.
