The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary is an architectural monument of local significance of the 18th century in the Baroque and Renaissance style, located in the central part of Korostyshiv. The wooden church on this site was founded in 1608 at the expense of Count Adam Olizar, who converted to Catholicism. In 1779, the temple was rebuilt from stone by the descendants of Pan Adam, and in 1802, a tomb-crypt of the Olizar family appeared near the church.
In Soviet times, the temple was closed, its premises housed a granary, then a cinema. In 1991, the church was returned to the Catholic community, which restored it by 2008. The interiors are decorated with stucco, cornices, arches and wood carvings depicting the path of Christ to Golgotha, in the altar there is a painting by the Polish artist F. Smuglevich "Jesus on the Cross". In front of the church there is a monument to the Polish poet and public figure Gustav Olizar, who lived in Korostyshiv for a long time. The territory of the Church of the Nativity is fenced with an elegant metal fence with granite pillars.
