The Museum of Shipping is located on Khortitsa Island opposite the Zaporizhzhya Cossacks Equestrian Theater. It was founded in 1999, when a Cossack gull was raised to the surface. Eight years later, the museum was replenished with a brigantine retrieved from the bottom, and then other exhibits appeared. All found vessels are restored and restored to their original form.
