Nicholas Church in Lebedin - the temple of the Sumy diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church - an architectural monument of local importance, an example of the so-called "brick style". The single-domed church was built in 1890 according to the design of the famous architect V.Kh. Nemkin, who combined the Byzantine style with the Renaissance in its architecture and decorated the walls of the temple with intricate cornices, arches and other complex elements. The church was originally built from chipped boards, which were then overlaid with red brick. A three-tiered bell tower with a bell cast in 1660 was erected nearby. A shrine is kept in the temple - the icon of St. Nicholas, brought by the first settlers.
