Ascension Church in Romny in the style of classicism - an Orthodox church - a monument of history and architecture of the XVIII-XIX centuries. It was built in 1797 on the site of a wooden church, in 1895 a stone bell tower was added to the church with a warm Trinity Church on the ground floor, in 1905 a brick fence was built. During the Soviet years, the church complex was closed, it was partially destroyed. In the early 1990s, the buildings were returned to the Church, the buildings were restored, new icons appeared, and the iconostasis was repaired.
