Asmolov's estate, located in a park of 3 hectares, is a monument of landscape gardening art. In the middle of the 19th century, the merchant of the 2nd guild Ivan Asmolov, the manager of factories and savings of the sugar factory Kharitonenko, bought a block of land on Troitskaya Street for the construction of his two-story residence with a park around. Currently, about 100 rare species of coniferous and deciduous trees, 28 varieties of lilacs grow in the park. Asmolov's house since 1991 has been one of the buildings of the dispensary for radiation protection of the population. The park and the estate are a popular place for wedding photo shoots in Sumy.
