The Lyuboml Church of the Holy Trinity is the oldest Roman Catholic church in Volhynia, an example of defensive sacral architecture. According to legend, it was built in 1412 by the Polish king Vladislav II Jagiello as a token of gratitude for the victory he won here over the Tatars, returning after the Battle of Grunwald. The church, built on a hill, was part of the city fortifications. In 1764, a bell tower was built nearby, and in the 19th century the temple was reconstructed. From 1945 to 1992, the church premises were used as a store, a sports hall and a warehouse for mineral fertilizers, which significantly damaged its interiors. Currently, the Trinity Church belongs to the Roman Catholic community.
