This attraction is located in the center of Sednev - a monument of landscape architecture of the 17th century! Sednevskaya manor for almost three centuries was the main residence of the noble family of Lizogubs, who came from the Cossack foremen of the time of B. Khmelnitsky. The first known representative of the family was a simple Cossack K. Lizogub from under Zolotonosha. His sons, Ivan and Yakov, moved from the ordinary Cossacks to the foreman during the Hetman civil strife of the "Ruins" period. Yakov became a Chernigov colonel and settled in Sednev, and his descendants continued the arrangement of the estate he had begun. A major restructuring took place in the 19th century. brothers Andrei and Ilya Lizoguba. They expanded the park and built a new manor house, and the old stone house (Lizogubov's Kamenitsa) was stylized as a small Gothic castle and converted for household needs.
