The reserve "Basalt pillars" is located near the villages of Berestovets and Basaltove in the Rivne region. This is a unique creation of nature of volcanic origin. Pillars of various shapes, from 3 to 30 meters high, stretch for 320 meters. Since the industrial extraction of basalt has been carried out here since the 18th century, the reserve is replete with quarries, some of them are flooded. In one of these quarries, the "Island of Love" appeared - a picturesque island, so named by the locals.
