The Resurrection Cathedral is the main temple of the city. It was built at the end of the 19th century on the site of an old wooden church that had burned down. The majestic five-domed cathedral is decorated with rich decor, the building is crowned with an arched bell tower. In Soviet times, a museum of atheism was located here, and since 1992 the cathedral has belonged to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kiev Patriarchate.
