Rivne Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater was founded in 1939. The beginning of the creative life of the theater was marked by the play "Yarov's Love" by K. Trenev. At the beginning of the war in June 1941, the theater ceased operations. Most of the actors were forced to leave the city, some were shot by the Nazis, and some, under the direction of director Anatoly Demo-Dovgopolsky, worked in a drama theater created by the German authorities. After the arrest and execution of A. Demo-Dovhopilsky, the theater fell into disrepair.→
