The Memorial of Glory is located on the western outskirts of the city. It was opened in 1985. The memorial is dedicated to the memory of Soviet soldiers who died in World War II. A 48-meter granite obelisk rises in the center of the architectural ensemble, and at its foot there are sculptures of a soldier, a partisan and a girl.
