The Church of the Holy Spirit is located in the northwestern part of the city on the banks of the Rotten Lipa River. It was built in the second half of the 16th century. The three-frame wooden church is an excellent example of Galician architecture and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. According to legend, it was here that Gavrila Lisovsky, the father of the famous Roksolana, served as a priest.
