The monument to lieutenant Rzhevsky is located in the northwestern part of the city near the main entrance of the chemical plant, not far from the
chapel of St. Vladimir the Equal-to-the-Apostles. Since, according to the play by Alexander Gladkov, Lieutenant Rzhevsky served in the Pavlograd Hussar Regiment, a monument to him was erected in this city. On the monument, he is depicted sitting on the back of a bench and twisting his mustache.
