Lenin Avenue is the central street of Mariupol. Its history dates back to the end of the 19th century, when it was called Big Street. It received its current name in 1960. Many city attractions are located on Lenin Avenue: monuments to Shevchenko, Korolenko, Kuindzhi, Vysotsky, houses with a spire, Yuriev's house and others. The length of the avenue is 5 kilometers.
