The PR Collegium is an architectural monument in Lviv. It is located near the central part of the city, on Nekrasov street, 4.
The act of founding the collegium of the monastic order of PR dates back to 1748, but its construction began in 1762 and was completed in the second half of the 19th century. The authorship of the project is attributed to the Italian architect F. Placidi. The monumental building has features of classicism. It is made of brick, U-shaped in plan, three-storey, horizontally the facades are clearly dissected by unraveled cornices. The central part of the main façade is two-storeyed, lined with stone, with Corinthian pilasters on high plinths and a massive portico of the central entrance. The central façade resembles that of the Lateran Basilica in Rome. The internal planning system is corridor with one-sided arrangement of premises.
Since 1782, in connection with the secularization reform in Austria, the building was transferred to the hospital. Since the Soviet period in the history of Lviv, the building has been used as the central building of the clinics of the medical institute (the current name is the Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital).
