The City Arsenal is located on Podvalnaya Street south of Royal Arsenal. It was built in the middle of the 16th century in the Renaissance style, and throughout its history it has been repeatedly destroyed and restored. Since 1981, the building has housed the Arsenal Museum of Weapons, a branch of the Lviv Historical Museum. It houses a rich collection of weapons from 30 countries.
