The Palace of the Greek Catholic Metropolitans is an architectural monument in Lviv. It is located on St. George's Square, 5, opposite the St. George's Cathedral. An example of palace architecture of the second half of the 18th century, combining late baroque with elements of classicism.

The chambers of the Greek Catholic metropolitans were built in 1761-1762 according to the design of the architect K. Fessinger on the site of a wooden palace of the second half of the 16th century. At the beginning of the 19th century, the metropolitan chambers were restored. In front of their western facade, a metropolitan garden and a flower garden were laid out, surrounded by a wall. The building of the palace closes the main courtyard from the east.

The building stands separately, it is brick, two-storey, rectangular in plan, elongated from north to south. The roof is hipped. The facades are accentuated with risalits: the central risalit is decorated with a portico and completed with a pediment with a coat of arms in a tympanum, the side risalits are decorated with pilasters. Flat pilasters, completed with stucco garlands, as well as the use of vases crowning the corners of the pediment and lucarnes, are typical for the architect K. Fessinger.
The internal layout of the building is enfilade. Fragments of 18th-century wall paintings by artists S. Gradolevsky and S. Ugnitsky have been preserved in the interior.

With the restoration of the activities of the Uniate Church in 1991, the palace again became the residence of the Metropolitan - Cardinal Miroslav Lyubachevsky. Near the entrance there is a memorial plate to Metropolitan Andrei Sheptytsky (sculptor Yaroslav Motyga, 1991). The palace was the residence of Pope John Paul II during his visit to Lviv in 2001.
