Olytsky castle

The Olytsky castle is located in the village of Olyka, Volyn region. It was built in 1558 and served as the family estate of the Radziwill princes. The castle was of great strategic importance and withstood more than one siege. In the 18th century, it was reconstructed, a three-story palace and a clock tower were added to it. In Soviet times, a psychiatric hospital was located on the territory of the castle, which is located here to this day.
