Ukraine, Lutsk
The Lutsk brewery was founded in 1888 by the Czech brewer Vaclav Zeman, whose family owned land in Volyn. The first factory building was made of wood and employed no more than 6 people. In 1906, the plant burned down in a fire, in 1906 the brewery was rebuilt in stone. 4 varieties of beer were brewed here, two of them - "Table" and "Sakura" won the Grand Prix in Paris in 1913. In 1939, after the annexation of Volyn to the USSR, the Lutsk brewery was nationalized, in the 1990s, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, it was privatized. After the introduction, during 2003, of an investment project for the modernization of production, since 2004, the plant has launched the production of beer and branded kvass under the brand name "Zeman" (Zeman). There is a bar at the factory that offers branded beer, and in the evenings, an orchestra consisting of an accordion, violin and double bass sets the mood here.
