Kamenitsa Polubotka

Kamyanitsya Polubotka
Ukraine, Liubech
A small building built in the 18th century, located in a park on the high bank of the Dnieper River. Geographically located in Lyubech, it is an architectural monument of national importance. Kamenitsa belonged to the Ukrainian hetman Pavlo Polubotok. The last renovation took place in the early 2000s. Kamenitsa Polubotka is a one-storey building with a basement built of stone and brick. It is believed that the building was never inhabited, but was used as an office, in the basement of which weapons or valuables were stored.

Mysteries are connected with the stone house of Polubotok. It turns out that she is named after the wrong person, who, in theory, should have been named. Renamed. Even in Peter's times. Guessed? And what is written about it, for what it is, is also not true ...It is only true that there are few such stone houses left in Ukraine (I don’t count Polish stone houses in Lvov and next to it). Therefore, it is especially joyful that it has been preserved in the city, where all the ancient buildings were blown up.
