The Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, also known as the Greek Church, is the main Orthodox church in the city. It was built in 1812 at the expense of the Greek community. The blue and white cathedral is built in a classical style. Its interior is decorated with ancient paintings, and among the shrines of the temple draw attention to the list of the icon of the Mother of God "Pantanassa", as well as the icon of the Virgin "Elisavetgrad".
