Station Kriviy Rig-Golovniy

Krivoy Rog-Glavny is a freight and passenger railway station of the Pridneprovskaya railway. The station was opened in 1884 and was called Dolgintsevo, from the name of Captain Dolgintsev, the owner of the nearby village and a participant in the Patriotic War of 1812. It has had its current name since 1979. The station was electrified in 1960 and is an important junction of four railway lines. On the square in front of the station building, there is a steam locomotive of the legendary Em series, produced in 1934. The station building is a monument of architecture and history of regional importance. Near the station there is a square with an area of one hectare, with flower beds and benches.
