MOPR Rocks in Krivoy Rog is a geological natural monument of national importance, a kind of open-air museum of geology on an area of 62 hectares. Picturesque rock ledges aged 2 million years, with natural outcrops, are located on both banks of the river. Ingulets along the former mining settlement MOPR is the abbreviation for the International Organization for Assistance to the Fighters of the Revolution. The rocks consist of two massifs: Bolshaya Orlinka or Eagle's Nest and Malaya Orlinka. Malaya Orlinka is not very high, but it is of interest for the caves and grottoes located here, in which a long time ago the Scythians, and then the Slavs mined iron ore, later, according to legend, the Cossacks hid the treasury.
The cliffs of the "Eagle's Nest", a bizarre shape, reach 28 meters in height, which attracts climbers here. A beautiful panorama of the surroundings opens up from the top.
