A monument to family and family values or a monument to parents was opened in Krivoy Rog on July 8, 2013, on Family Day, in a birch square near the cascading fountains in front of the city council, next to the musical fountain. Lovers, couples with children often come here. The author of the bronze monument is the Kryvyi Rih sculptor Vladimir Tokar, whose several works adorn the streets of the city. Parents are depicted thoughtfully standing in the doorway - as if waiting for someone. The inscription on the pedestal reads “Be sure to check…” - there is no such offense that parents cannot forgive their children.
