St. George's bell tower was erected in May 2010, on the anniversary of the Great Victory, making up with the nearby monument "Victory", in memory of the soldiers of the 3rd Ukrainian Front, who liberated Krivoy Rog on February 22, 1944 from the Nazi invaders, a single architectural and historical ensemble . The height of the octagonal five-tiered bell tower is 51 meters; three arched entrances lead inside the two-story building. The interior painting of the walls of the temple on a military-historical theme was made by graduates of the local icon-painting school. On the second floor, near the bells, at a height of 30 meters, there is an observation deck, from where a beautiful view of the nearest districts of the city opens. With the onset of darkness, the illumination of the bell tower is turned on, which becomes visible from afar.
