Peace Park is located in the northwestern part of the city. It was opened in 1983. The park covers an area of about 10 hectares. There are many coniferous and deciduous trees planted here, clean well-groomed lawns are everywhere. In the park there is a memorial complex dedicated to the memory of the soldiers who died during the Second World War. And in 2010, the Gong of Peace, a commemorative sign donated by Indonesia, was installed here.
