The estate-museum of Taras Shevchenko is located in the village of Moryntsy, the birthplace of the writer and poet. It was founded in 1989, when two huts were restored, where the future Kobzar spent his childhood. Inside the premises, the atmosphere of those times is completely recreated, and there is a beautiful orchard nearby. The manor-museum is open to visitors all year round.
