The monument to the potato pancake in Korosten is installed in front of the park of culture and recreation named after. N. Ostrovsky and is a granite basket with potato pancakes on a pedestal of gray and red granite, mined in a local quarry. On the front side of the pedestal, a Ukrainian towel with poetic lines about potato pancakes is depicted. The monument to the traditional dish of Polissya was solemnly opened during the second festival of potato pancakes in 2009. Every second Saturday in September, the traditional International Pancake Festival takes place near the monument and in the park.
