Kyiv-Passenger is the central railway station of the city. The first building of the station was built in the Gothic style in 1870. at the beginning of the 20th century it was demolished, and in the 1930s a new one was built, made in the Soviet monumental style. At the beginning of this century, it was restored, finished with granite and marble. The station receives daily up to 40 thousand passengers.
