The Dynamo Stadium is located in the center of the capital near
Mariinsky Palace. It was built in 1934, destroyed during the Second World War, and then reconstructed. Now this cozy stadium with a capacity of 16,900 seats is the home arena of the Dynamo Kyiv football club. And in 2002, after the death of his legendary player and coach Valery Vasilyevich Lobanovsky, the stadium was named after him.
