The Samson Fountain is located on Kontraktova Square. It is a statue of the biblical hero Samson tearing apart the mouth of a lion. The fountain was installed in 1982 in the image and likeness of the first one, installed back in 1749 and demolished in 1934. Many urban legends are associated with it, and there are always a lot of people who want to be photographed near the fountain.
