The Church of the Nativity is located on Postal Square, not far from
Intercession Church. It was built at the beginning of the 19th century, destroyed under Soviet rule in 1935, and in 2003 restored to its original form. The church was built in the classical style according to the surviving photographs. It belongs to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kiev Patriarchate. The death mask of Taras Shevchenko is kept in the church.
