The oldest surviving cult building of the Roman Catholic Church in Kyiv. Construction lasted a quarter of a century and was completed in 1842. The author of the project is Ludwik Stanzani, a Kyiv architect of Italian origin. Made in the style of classicism, cruciform in plan, with a high main bath and two towers, a portico at the entrance. At the end of the 19th century, the parish of Alexander's Church numbered more than 33.000 people. In the 1920s and 1930s, almost all church priests were repressed.→
