Trakhtemirovsky Reserve
State Historical and Cultural Reserve "Trakhtemirov"

The Trakhtemirovsky reserve is located in the Kanevsky district of the Cherkasy region. It was created in 1994 on the site of a Cossack settlement that was famous for its uprisings. Now the remains of buildings and Cossack graves are kept here. Also here was the famous Zarubinets monastery.
The reserve is famous for its beauty. It is located on the Kanev glaciodislocations, and its shores are dotted with ancient mollusks.
