The National Natural Park "Podolsky Tovtry" (Toltry) was created in 1996 to preserve the unique natural landscapes of Podolia. The administrative center of the national park, which occupies the territory of Kamenetz-Podolsk, Chemerovets and Gorodok districts of the Khmelnytsky region, is located in Kamyanets-Podilsky. The northern border of the park runs a little higher than the village of Chemerovets, the Eastern one - along the Ushitsa River, the Western one - along the Zbruch River, the Southern one - along the Dniester River.
The territory of the National Natural Park is conditionally divided into functional zones: protected, two recreational and economic. On the territory of the park there are 162 objects of the protected fund, 19 archaeological monuments, more than 300 historical and architectural monuments, about 3000 plant species, 217 animal species, of which 29 species are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine, there are mineral water springs, caves and canyons. . The richness and diversity of natural resources and the recreational opportunities of the park make it possible to develop tourism, hunting and fishing here. Several interesting tourist routes have been laid through the park.
