Galich Castle is located in the regional center of Galich, Ivano-Frankivsk region. It was built at the end of the 14th century and was of great strategic importance for several centuries. At the end of the 17th century, it was reconstructed and in its appearance began to resemble a palace rather than a defensive structure. Today, restoration work is underway in the Galich Castle, it is planned to create a museum.
